OverviewASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF NURSING (NON-UNION)EMERGENCY DEPARTMENTFull Time / 4 days per week / 8pm – 6am / Some Weekends ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the clinical and operational management of the Nursing Emergency Department, ensuring that standards of practice for nursing and patient care are maintained; participates in developing departmental plans and programs as required; collects and provides data on unit activities, PI issues, etc. as required.

QualificationsRequirements:3-5 years ED experienceTeam orientedSkills validation assessments, competency assessments, and orientation overviewExcellent Communication and organizational skills - can work independently2 years of leadership experience (Charge Nurse or Team Leader)BSN/MSN Preferred:CEN/CPENCurrent competency in Adult and Pediatric emergency care including triage, resuscitation, and CDU
