NURSING NB2Part-Time (0.6 / 22.5)7pm – 7:30am ResponsibilitiesIncorporates relevant assessment and intervention skills in the delivery of nursing care 2.* Communicates with patients, colleagues and management in accurate, considerate and timely manner (written, verbal and electronic) 3. * Employs critical thinking skills to achieve outcomes and solve problems 4.* Engages in caring relationships that integrate the influence of the human experience of health, illness and/or healing, and relationship-based care. 5.* Manages assignment and material resources effectively 6.* Applies leadership skills consistent with role and experience 7.* Incorporates teaching in the delivery of care to promote health and prevent disease and documents when appropriate 8.* Integrates relevant knowledge and evidence-based practice (utilizing teamwork and collaboration). 9.* Provides specialty-specific care as outlined by Maimonides Medical Center QualificationsEducation:Graduation from an accredited school of Nursing school required; BSN preferred.

Current NYS licensure as RN required. Current BLS certification required. Current ACLS certification preferred.

1 year of Medical/Surgical experience preferred.

Clinical skills for patient care delivery through the nursing process. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Good interpersonal skills.

Analytical skillsSpeaks, reads and writes English to the extent required by the position; fluency in a second language preferred.
